STANDARD COATS
STANDARD COAT IS A TERM USED TO DESCRIBE THE DESIRABLE AND GENERALLY TYPIC LENGTH OF COAT OF AN ALASKAN MALAMUTE.
Grays, wolf grays, blacks, seals, silvers, sables, sell for:
$1250 and up: AKC Registered (limited registration/no breeding rights) depending on pedigree/physical appearance
Reds and pure whites sell for:
$1500 - $2000 AKC Registered (limited registration/no breeding rights) depending on pedigree/physical appearance

WOOLY COATS
WOOLY COAT IS A TERM USED TO DESCRIBE A THICKER, LONGER, PUFFIER COAT THAT THE STANDARD, SHORTER COAT OF THE MALAMUTE. MOST SHOW DOG JUDGES FROWN ON THIS BECAUSE IT DOES NOT FALL IN THE GUIDELINES OF THEIR STANDARDS BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE PREFER THIS TYPE OF COAT. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF PREFERENCE.

We do not give full registration to anyone other than approved breeders/kennels that we are working with. I have made this agreement with all the breeders that I have purchased my own dogs from. All dogs sold by Willow Creek Kennel must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age according to our contract. Giant Malamutes and Wooly Coated Malamutes do not fit the AKC Malamute standard so there is no need to give out full registration rights for show, handling, etc. White malamutes will be spayed/neutered prior to leaving our premises and will reflect in the price.
Deposits
We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold any pups longer than 24 hours. If placing a deposit for a puppy that is not born yet, please be advised that you are not guaranteed sex, color or markings. However, if there are no puppies living or not enough to fill the deposits placed, you will get a full refund of your deposit. If you place a deposit on a pup after it is born, please remember that it is non-refundable unless something debilitating or life-threatening occurs.
In the event that there is a particular puppy that we wish to keep, we reserve first choice and it will be stated so while contacting applicants.
1. We have an opened contact list that we place names on at any time.
2. We announce a planned breeding on our website several months in advance.
3. Once a breeding has taken place and pregnancy confirmed, we send out the information to those on our contact list.
4. We accept $500 non-refundable deposits on any of the litters that we have listed on our "Puppy" page. We will have 6 slots reserved for deposits prior to the litter being born. Sex, color, markings, size and coat are not guaranteed at this time. If there are not enough pups to fill all 6 slots, we will refund those deposits in the order last received.
5. Once the puppies are born, we send out an announcement and allow people to choose their pups on a first deposit/first choice basis. Pups can be chosen at birth. In the event that a person does not want to choose a puppy within 3 days of birth and wishes to wait to choose their pup, the second, third, fourth person, and so on to have placed a deposit will be allowed to go ahead with their choice.
6. Under no circumstances can you make a pick from one litter and transfer the deposit to another that is younger. You may, however, transfer your deposit to an older litter.
*We reserve the right to have first choice of any pups. We usually state that we plan on keeping a pup from a particular litter when we announce a planned breeding on our website or during contacting people that are on our waiting list.
*If you are not comfortable in how we take deposits, it is highly recommended that you wait until the puppies are born and choose from the pups that are still available at that time.
*Prices vary with color, coat and pedigree so please look under “PRICES” on our website to get some idea.
Shipping
Shipping is a flat rate $400 within the United States which includes vet exam $40, health certificate $25, crate $65 & airfare $250 depending on destination, gas/transportation $20. We ship Continental, Delta and Alaska Airlines depending on destination and which suites the puppy best at the time.
Note* Willow Creek Kennel does not ship dogs Internationally other than Canada. We can not ship dogs to Hawaii due to their strict rabies quarantine laws.
Sometimes we have older pups and adults for sale. Prices of these dogs vary. Shipping costs also vary due to size of crate needed and weight/size of dog.
Note* Adult dogs are availible for pick up only.
Boarding Kennel Charge
If there is some reason that you can not pick up your puppy on the scheduled release date (usually the weekend of their 7th week), we charge a $5.00 per day boarding fee to cover the continuing care, food, shelter/bedding, shots, worming, medical attention, advertising and time. We will only hold a pup up to 10 weeks of age. If the balance is not paid (including any boarding charges) and the pup is not picked up by 10 weeks, all money placed down on the pup will be forfeited and we will place the pup up for sale. This is because once the pups reach 10 weeks of age, they begin to go through their awkward stage and we have to lower the prices for them while taking a loss on the sale.

Willow Creek Kennel excepts payment via the following methods:

Cash at time of pick up
We DO NOT accept personal checks, money orders or cashier's checks.
Note* Due to all of the International Internet Scams, all payments must be verified by our bank before a puppy/dog is released. We do not, under any circumstances, except couriers or personal shipping agents to pick up the puppy.
Our apologies, but we will no longer be taking payment via US Money Orders or US Cashier's Checks. Unfortunately, there are just too many scammers out there that we are forced to accept PayPal and Cash payments only!
